With technology today, we will turn an ordinary picture across an old postcard, so easy ... but very easy.
not have any complex process and the results are ... surprising
put them to your values taste and texture choose one that you like, the important thing, I always say it is to learn the technique, then practice, practice, practice ....
I get the textures that I used.
STARTED:
1. press CONTROL + O and choose a photo.
2. Double click on the Background layer and press OK. So turn it into Layer 0.
3. CONTROL + J to make a duplicate. With this we Layer 0 and Layer 0 copy.
4. place you in the Layer 0 Copy and press CONTROL + SHIFT + U to desaturate . Now would be a picture in Black and White .
5. Press CONTRL + L to open the Levels dialog and give a little contrast. Move the triangles at the ends of the Input Levels option - a black triangle on the left and white triangle on the right, to your taste -.
6. CONTROL + O and choose a texture. It is preferable that there is any piece of paper, pulp book ... etc. If you do not have to choose one you like, to do the tutorial. Because of these textures you will do later, as many will find anywhere. press CONTROL + A to select the texture then CONTROL + C to copy it. You can now close
file texture.
7. Click on the Layer 0 Copy and then press CONTROL + V . You will see how to create a new layer with the texture that you chose in the previous step. It will be located in first position, otherwise they click on this layer with the texture and move above Layer 0 and Layer 0 Copy .
Now change the blending mode of this layer to MULTIPLY .
8. CONTROL + O and choose another texture . If you have some framework for better book if it is not either. Again stay with the technique, making these types of textures later.
- CONTROL + A to select the chosen texture.
- CONTROL + C to copy it. Close the file texture.
9. Back in our archive of press work CONTROL + V to paste the second texture chosen in a separate layer. drag it to the first position in the Layers Palette and change its blending mode from Normal to MULTIPLY.
10. Press CONTROL + L to reopen the Levels dialog and as in step 4 give more contrast, shifting triangles of the sides, as I said earlier.
11. Click on the Layer 0 -original image, and move it above the rest of layers, ie above the layers: Layer 0 Copy, Layer and Layer Textura1 Textura2. Press CONTROL + U to open the dialog box Hue / Saturation and the value of the put option it SATURATION: -40 . Now change the Blend Mode from Normal to Soft Light or to SUPERIMPOSE . Choose the result that you like.
12. Click on Layer Textura1 - the step 6 - and press CONTROL + J to duplicate. Drag this copy to the first position and change the blending mode to SUPERIMPOSE - advised to try other blending modes and choose the best result I give -.
13. Then place you in the Layer textura2 -step the 8 - and duplicate it by pressing Control + J. As we previously put this layer, duplicated, above the other Layers and change its blending mode from Normal to MULTIPLY.
- COUNCIL: If you think you may need to clear those areas of textures that blend in the image. To do this you situáis in the layer in question and then click on the icon "Add Layer Mask" -is located on the bottom of the Layers palette is rectangular with a white circle inside. Brush tool Activáis -pressing the letter B, and paint with a brush-color-black as the foreground color on areas that you please delete texture.
Create a Layer Mask in each of the layers of texture and repeat the above-clear areas with a black brush. Has no difficulty.
14. Finally put a text to the Post, or not. As You Like It.
That is all. The change is evident. I hope you enjoy it and be useful for you.
Practice, practice, practice. Modify the values, blending modes ... customize the techniques.
Greetings DESIGN IS IMAGINATION.
